Safety and Practicality
To ensure your SAFETY during your holiday, please read and note the following:
HOT WATER
The hot water is VERY HOT, so please take care, particularly the first time you take a shower.
SWIMMING POOL
· Children must be supervised at all times when using the pool.
· Children should not be permitted to play in the areas of the garden adjacent to the terrace wall and the steps leading up to the villa from street level – there is no barrier other than flower beds and it’s a 12 foot drop.
· The tiles around the pool are non-slip, but if surface water should build up it is possible to slip: please take care and never run around the pool.
· Pool depth is 1.50m (5ft) throughout.
· The inflatables provided for the pool (in long cupboard beneath TV) should not be used as buoyancy aids and take care not to play with them too close to the edge of the pool: you could be injured if they flip over.
· DRY YOUR FEET BEFORE YOU ENTER THE VILLA. (You could easily SLIP on the tiles / stairs.)
OUTSIDE STEPS
Please take care on the steps, especially at night. Take a flashlight (in drawer in kitchen) if returning after dark.
FLY SCREEN IN LIVING ROOM
In bright sunlight it’s sometimes hard to see the fly screen, so be careful not to walk straight into it(!) as you go inside or outside.
OTHER POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT THE VILLA
· No smoking anywhere in the property.
· Please do not leave air conditioning on when you go out.
· Please be honest about all breakages and report them.
· Please read and follow the instructions for use of dishwasher, washing machine etc.which you find in the villa ring-binder.
· Please respect this property as you would your own and leave it as you would wish to find it.
ON DAY OF DEPARTURE
· turn off the electricity at the fuse box
· strip beds + leave sheets, pillow cases + towels in a heap in the hall downstairs
· leave the fridge and freezer empty WITH THE DOORS OPEN
· return villa keys to reception
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
